I was tasked with creating a poster based upon my final paper in history of graphic design, it is meant promote the work depicted in our chosen topic. Angry art is large part of war protest in the 1960's-1970's, and shows the brutal impact of what occured in Vietnam. I want to create something that captured that same anger, and symbolized what many of the victims experienced. The imagery is based upon a photo of a woman holding her child as napalm can be seen overhead. Angry art wasn't sugar coated, and I didn't want the poster to be either.
